How It Works

Arrival

I pick you up at the airport (or a previously agreed upon location). We load up, grab some snacks, and hit the road.

The first evening might require a bit of driving to get to where we’re going, but it’ll all be worth it. Plus, we can get to know each other, or you could take a nap. I call shotgun.

The first night, we get settled in, have dinner, and I show you how to use all of the fun overlanding gear. After we unfold the rooftop tents your beds are ready to go. You just need to throw on your jammies.

Flights are not included.

Since our destinations are quite a distance from the airport and I cannot set up camp in the city it is required that guests be picked up no later than 3:00pm.

Adventure

The rest of our days will be full of scenic drives, incredible hikes, epic vistas, and other unforgettable adventures.

The first full day of the tour starts with a hardy breakfast and the adventure truly begins. We may do a hike or a 4x4 trail (or both) through a canyon, up a mountain, or to a lake. We can either have lunch in the car or we can eat on the trail. Once we’ve had our fill of the day we find a place to set up camp, have dinner, and hopefully check out the stars (weather permitting). Each day is a new adventure, moving from one place to another, taking full advantage of each day.

A variety of tour packages are available, ranging from 5-7 days of adventuring, but special requests can be accommodated.

If your tour is long enough, or if you’d just prefer to take a break from sleeping in a tent, I can arrange for a night’s stay at a hotel/motel.

Adios

Goodbyes are tough, but all good things come to an end. You worry about your flight and I’ll pick the french fries out from between the seats.

When it’s time to go home I’ll take you back to the airport to catch your flight or drop you off wherever we’ve agreed.

*Due to the nature of where we can physically camp, I cannot make it to the airport before 1:00pm on your departure day.
